I did see reading another forum that a member was given an unmaterialistic version of the game that worked in windows 10. Things I know and have tried: 1: I have both games installed on a different PC and everything is fine (both windows 10) 2: I have the options.ini file, it crashes otherwise. Have uninstalled and reinstalled both multiple times with no luck. Also tried to install Rise of the witchking however it stops approximately half way through the installation unable to install one of the "chapters". The discs that I purchased are legal and brand new. I was unable to start it with the NVidia graphics card as I do not have that option (method of right clicking shortcut.

Tried an aftermarket mod to fix the startup issues.The moddb start up fixer. (And yes I ensured it was saved as ini and not as a text document) Have created an "options.ini" folder with values under the app roaming as that is a common fix. Tried launching via both the desktop icon and the folder. The game installs no worries however when I go to start it via the desktop it comes up saying there is no disc installed. I have gone to install it on my laptop which is almost brand new running windows 10. I have purchased the disc version of the lord of the rings the battle for middle earth 2 collectors edition (lotrbfme2).
